Brooks Robinson is a former professional baseball player who played for the Baltimore Orioles for his entire career. He played as a third baseman and is considered one of the greatest defensive players of all time. He won 16 consecutive Gold Gloves, which is a record for a third baseman and he was also a 18-time All-Star. He was known for his excellent fielding skills, and his ability to make difficult plays look easy. He also had a strong arm and good range. He was also a solid offensive player, with a career batting average of .267, 268 home runs and 1,357 runs batted in. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983.
