My daughter is a catcher for varsity high school and an 18u travel softball team. She has tried many catchers mitts from, Mizuno, Rawlings, and Nokona. Shes had success with those mitts but has something about them she didnt like. The main complaint has been with the gloves pocket. She says that pitches with rotation dont stick. However with this mitt thats not the case. It allows her quicker reaction times since the ball isnt spinning in the glove.The mitt does come a bit stiff as all good quality ones do. I took it to Dicks Sporting Goods and had it steamed to get it game ready quicker.

She plays 3rd on an 18u gold team and this glove size was recommended by her coach and she likes it a lot ... Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2018Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 12"Color: White/Grey - Infield Model Bought this to replace a 13" glove for my 17 year old who plays softball. My daughter loves the quality and the size. She plays 3rd on an 18u gold team and this glove size was recommended by her coach and she likes it a lot more than the bigger glove. It's expensive but it's worth it, she had mizuno in the past and likes this wilson a lot more than the mizuno. She likes how the pocket holds up and retains its shape, the mizuno has a very loose pocket that seemed to fail over time. This glove should last her a couple of years if not more so keep that in mind when your thinking about the cost, it will save you over the years.

Long lasting high quality glove. Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2018Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 12"Color: White/Grey - Infield Model As a life long and Division I college softball player I highly recommend this glove. This glove will last years. This is the only brand I trust. High leather and design quality will ensure that this product will outlast many of the other brands. For players with smaller hands (women) the Wilson a2000 without the wrist strap will fit the hand better. The Wilson a2000 with the wrist strap will fit players with a larger hand better.

11 comment Report abuse Comment Very well made Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2019Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 11.75"Color: White/Grey - Infield Model I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who plays travel ball. I read the reviews about it being a really hard glove to break in. I put on a movie and pounded it with a rubber mallet after about an hour and a half, a sore arm it was ready to go, she used it the very next day and has been loving it. I would highly recommend to any player moving up from the lower Wilson models. This glove will not disappoint and the super skin is way lighter then full leather P.when('review-image-binder', 'reviewsLightbox-js').execute(function(reviewImageBinder) { reviewImageBinder.bindReview("R12ZIP68J6W8OB", "R12ZIP68J6W8OB_imageSection_main", "R12ZIP68J6W8OB_gallerySection_main"); });

Give it time to break in Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2018Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 12.5"Color: Black/White - Outfield Model Great glove for my daughter. Make sure you give yourself time to break it in. This is not a glove you get on Friday and play with the next day. Also make sure you watch the Wilson you tube videos that show you how to break in a glove without voiding the warranty.

Incredible quality glove! Worth the money! Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2017Hand Orientation: LeftStyle: 12.5"Color: White - Outfield Model My daughter plays competitive and High School ball. She had always had the best bats and other equipment so I thought she deserved the best glove when it was time. Not sorry! She loves it and hasn't had any issues at all with it. Follow the Wilson break in procedure though! Youtube videos from their personal break in guy!

11 comment Report abuse Comment HIGH QUALITY!! Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2018Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 12.5"Color: Black/White - Outfield Model I needed a new softball glove as mine was ancient. I did a ton of research trying to find the right glove and I settled on an A2000. I could not be happier with this thing!! I have a size S/M hand so I was interested but slightly concerned about getting a glove meant for a women's hand. I fortunately was able to try this on in a store and it fit my hand just fine. The adjustable strap is very nice and makes it easy to customize fit. I saw a lot of reviews saying how stiff the glove was and breaking it in was going to be a pain. It took about a week of playing catch, rolling it up w/ a softball and leaving 30 lbs of weight on it each night and it was good to go. I played a game 1 week after receiving the glove and did not have a single issue.Such a nice glove!! I'm writing this review 2 months after receiving it and the fit and feel is amazing!! Perfect for slow pitch softball if you have a smaller hand and/or don't want a bulky glove!!

Wilson's still got it! Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2019Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 12"Color: Red/Grey - Sierra Romero Model I grew up playing with an A2000 and purchased this one for my daughter who plays club ball and HS ball. She was a little hesitant to jump into practice with a NEW glove, but overcame! She is super pleased with this glove and her coach even said, "Lemme see that glove! Dang girl this is a nice glove!" Her pride in the glove shows in her play!

High Quality Glove! Highly Recommend! Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2018Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 34"Color: White/Black - Catcher's Model Great glove! Bought for our 12yr old daughter who is a catcher for town and club softball. Takes some time to break in but definitely has more protection for her hand than a cheaper $100-$150 glove. If your daughter is gonna stick with catching do her catching hand a favor and buy her this!UPDATE!! Almost a year later my daughter who still plays townball, summerball and club softball LOVES this glove. Superior protection for her hand. Its help her focus on her job behind the plate, not the 40-60mph pitches she sees from town to club teams. She conditions it regularly. Buy it, love it, keep it for years!

The best! Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2017Hand Orientation: RightStyle: 12"Color: White/Black - Pitcher's Model A2000 what a beautiful piece of leather. Bit of a tight fit on my hand (male adult - average size hands) I wear a large golf glove for comparison, but I expect it to mold perfectly once broken in.
