Updated Review:This is a pro level adult glove, however, I bought it for my 9yo son after he used someone else's and loved it. As others have mentioned, this glove is not going to make your kid a better player. But this *is* a glove that will last and hold up for years to come. Infielders prefer a smaller glove/pocket, but it works great for younger kids too. The Pedroia fit is tighter as well. I think that's why some people think this is a youth glove. It's not, it just fits better for those with smaller hands. This is not our first Wilson (have used everything from the A800/A900, A2000, and A2K), but it is our first SuperSkin glove. I went with this to allow it to be easier to break in and use by my son. Now that I have it, I'm liking the feel of the glove and think that it will hold up just as well (or longer) than traditional leather. We're still breaking it in, but my son can already catch grounders, line drives, and pop flys with it. Still not game ready, but enough to make a recommendation that this is an awesome glove. I will provide an update if anything changes.***** Original Review ****"There are a few versions of this glove listed here. This review is for the A2000 1788 SuperSkin 11.25" Infield version. The price seemed too good to be true, but I was hoping it was because they were trying to unload some old stock. Unfortunately it seems my concerns were valid, as this appears to be a "blemish" stock of the glove. There is a large oil stain in the palm of the glove. This does not compromise the functionality or integrity of the glove, but this is something that should be stated in the description. Amazon is sending me a replacement and assured me that they will check it to confirm it is new and as advertised. I will update my review once I get the replacement, but wanted to put this out there for anyone to be aware that it may not be what you expect. Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2017Hand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 12.75"Color: Black/Blonde/Red - Outfield Model I'd always wanted one but couldn't justify the cost. And then I bought this. I will never wear a glove other than a Wilson A2000 again!

This is a great mitt! Reviewed in the United States on NovemHand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 12.25"Color: Black/Grey - First Base Model I compared four first base mitts before I settled on this one. In the interest of full disclosure, I am old and chubby. I wear an XL Mechanix brand glove for work and I like to fit as much of my hand into the mitt\glove as possible. The whole "just the fingers" thing doesn't work for me. I am also a die-hard Rawlings fan. I don't play competitively anymore (some former teammates will argue that I never actually did), but I do practice with the kids a couple of hours a week.Rawlings HOH PRODCTB - This mitt is absolutely gorgeous! I love the black\blonde colorway. It was my second favorite in fit and I nearly went with this one simply because of how darn good it looked. Could easily fit my ring and pinky in the pinky slot (ie: "finger shift"). i suspect, completely unscientifically, that the Rawlings will be more durable long term. I still wonder if I should have found a way to keep this one, too.Wilson A2000 1617 "SuperSkin" - I could not fit my hand in this glove far enough to feel comfortable using it, let alone being able to break it in. Interesting black, grey, and blonde colorway, but it went right back in the box to return. Not sure if I got an odd one (I only tried one) or if this mitt is just cut smaller than others.Wilson A2K 1617 - I really wanted to love this glove, as I got it for way cheaper than standard street pricing. It, too, fit a bit on the tight side, but I believed I could work with it. There was a small stitching issue in the the thumb strap that I felt would drive me nuts. For sure the stitching issue was a one-off on the one I tried. For full retail, though, this one was third on my list of potential keepers.Which brings me to this one, the Wilson A2000 2820 SuperSkin. It fit like Aso himself sneaked into my house one night and measured my hand while I was sleeping. I mean perfect. The solid black colorway is boring compared to the other choices on the market, but the fit makes up for it. Perfect for the finger shift. I'm two months in and still breaking it in; I'd say I'm 80% of the way there. It is my first Wilson mitt or glove, so my Rawlings-centric mind has me worried about durability. No direct evidence of an issue yet; just a feeling. Time will tell.

High school baseball 2nd base dream! Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2018Hand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 11.5"Color: Blonde/Black/Tropical Blue - Infield Model bought this for my son and he loves it. Way softer than regular gloves and it is easily breaking in after a day. Color scheme looks wacky but cool and the glove deff is for players with smaller hands. Best 175 I've spent on an A2000.

Awesome glove Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2018Hand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 33.5"Color: Black/Grey - Catcher's Model Excellent made glove. Only down side is difficult to break in. Needs time because quality of the leather. Plan ahead when purchasing. Took about 2 wks at batting cage catching 70mph to speed up process

Great infield glove. Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2019Hand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 11.5"Color: Brick Red/Silver/Black - Infield Model Beautiful glove. Was not sure Id go for the superskin, but gotta say Im a convert. Definitely lighter, seems to genuinely make break-in easier (that Wilson leather is STIFF), and really looks great. You want quick hands for infield plays, so lightness really counts in a glove like this. If its as durable and long lasting as leather (or better as advertised), this things a real winner. Holding up great so far. Superskin stays clean in our red dirt infields. Silver leather, not so much.

easy to break in Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2019Hand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 12.5"Color: Black/Blonde/Grey - First Base Model had it game ready within 3 days, completely broken in by the 2nd game (week total). Very high quality, not as high as the A2K, obviously, but I feel it was better than the Rawlings HOH IMHO. If you want a simple, and easy way to break it in very quickly, watch Aso, the Glove Guru's break in method, and it will be ready in no time. I did it twice, with spending 20-30 minutes pounding a way at it, used a traditional rubber mallet on Saturday, ready to use by Tuesday.

Its an A2000 for smaller hands. Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2019Hand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 11.5"Color: Blonde/Black/Tropical Blue - Infield Model What can I say. Its an A2000 one of if not the best glove made. Its the Pedroria fit so my 12yr old with small hands can use it. The glove doesnt make the player but it does give them confidence.

Nice glove, colors pop Reviewed in the United States on ApHand Orientation: Right Hand ThrowStyle Name: 11.75"Color: Black/Grey/Red - Infield Model Nice glove, colors pop, superskin gives it a great feel without weight. Takes a WHILE to break in. Recommend to middle infielders.
