Good fungo for the price. Does everything I need it to as a high school baseball coach. The only weakness is that it is made of ash and the grains will eventually split because its an open grained wood. This can be negated by taping the barrel of the bat and should las several seasons. Pair this with a nice grip and its almost perfect. I suggest lizard skins brand grip.Bottom line: for a low price its a great fungo, nothing beats the sound feel and handle of a wood fungo. If you want a better longer lasting wood look at a maple(or other closed grain woods) fungo. 1

Really nice bat Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2018Color: Tan I can't believe how awesome this thing is. I have coached youth softball and baseball for nearly 10 years and I have always just used a players bat for hitting balls for infield practice. I am currently coaching a 9-10 year old baseball team. I have a bucket of about 50 baseballs and with this bat I can go through the entire bucket time after time after time hitting very accurate grounders, line drives, and pop flies anywhere on the field I want.I absolutely love this bat.

Solid with modifications. Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2018Color: Tan This bat is stout!! In terms of Fungos its one of the largest Ive ever used. That being said Ive bought a new one very year up to this point because they break. I dont think this one is breaking. First thing I did was drill a 7/8 hole in the barrel to lighten it up a bit. Its solid but if you plan on swinging for 2 hours at a time you better be a big boy.

11 comment Report abuse Comment Not a good piece of lumber, poor quality overall. Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2020Color: Tan I just received and opened the K100. I have not had to purchase one in a few years. As the pictures show in this review, the life of this bar will not be long. Horrible piece of lumber. Too many grooves, the dip that was performed above the handle was not done well. Event the logos that were stamped are not embedded into the lumber as usual. I have coached for several years and Im not an amateur when swinging it. I give this lumber a month. So much better than using conventional bat Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2019Color: Tan Whoa, this things FUN. Guess I should act all cool hitting endless grounders and pop ups to grandkids, but its just fun to do it so easily that I keep grinning like a kid myself. Always just used a normal bat when coaching Little League. Now I realize I should have had one of these! Was worried about breaking it when first received because its pretty slender and light, but its holding up great. Not nearly as tiring to go through a bucket with this thing. A simple pleasure.

Inexpensive, great practice tool Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2018Color: Tan Solid fungo, great for hitting hard grounders and exerting minimal efforts during practice (youth baseball in my case). Fly balls take a little practice, but you get much more distance easily. If you don't want to hit so far, just choke up a lot and it's still light and balanced. When hitting to adults, this fungo will allow you to go maximum speed without significant effort.

Fun is right Reviewed in the United States on JColor: Tan LOL, I never knew a bat could be fun. Guy at work said I should try one when I mentioned how tiring practice could be.This is great. I can just swat balls to wherever I want. I can send the kids backpedaling to the fences, give them fly balls way up in the sun, or just bop a few dozen grounders with ease. Should have gotten one a long time ago.

Solid as a Rock Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2016Color: Tan I usually hit practice flyballs and groundballs by grabbing a player's aluminum bat, but after trying an assistant coach's fungo, I was hooked and immediately searched Amazon for the best fungo option. This fit the bill. As shown in the photos, it comes in a natural wood, classic finish. The bottom ~12 inches of the handle are sanded smooth provides a comfortable grip (and are therefore a slightly different shade). Made from ash, this model is heavier (and beefier) than the my assistant coach's fungo. As a result, it takes very little swing to send balls to my 9-11 year old players. On a full size diamond, you easily reach your fielders with a natural swing. I have no doubt I'll be using this same fungo in 20 years. 1

Excellent Product! Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2019Color: Tan This is an official Major League Baseball bat that is 36 long. It was longer than I expected but it probably stated that in the description and I did not read through it....so thats my fault. Its very well made, just the right weight, sanded so there is no splintering and perfect for what I needed it for.....home protection. If you are looking for a wooden bat that will meet all the requirements of a bat I highly recommend this one.
