The CAT9 Connect Pastime BBCOR is a high-performance baseball bat designed for power hitters who demand the best from their equipment. The bat is constructed with a two-piece hybrid design, featuring a carbon composite handle and a thermally treated AZR alloy barrel. The end-loaded, high MOI barrel is designed for effortless power, while the AZR aluminum provides better feel, more forgiveness, and better performance. The OLS Connection is a one-of-a-kind design that connects the barrel to the handle from the outside in, creating the stiffest connection available and dismissing virtually all vibrations on contact. This results in the strongest, smoothest swing possible. The bat also features a multi-variable wall design that expands the sweet spot and provides more forgiving off-centered performance. The CAT9 Connect Pastime BBCOR also features a longitudinal groove system that reduces excess weight and increases flexibility for an increased performance zone. The ring-free barrel construction allows for more barrel flex and increased performance with no "dead" spots. The professionally inspired handle features a removable taper and an ergonomic knob shape for more top-hand control and comfort. The bat comes with a micro-perforated soft-touch grip that is soft and tacky for improved feel and control. The CAT9 Pastime comes standard with a gray 1.75mm grip, and grip weight and manufacturing tolerances may cause slight deviation from the listed weight. The bat has a 2 5/8" barrel and is BBCOR certified, making it eligible for use in high school and college games.
